Websurdity is an attempt to chronicle and satirize some of the weird, bizarre, silly, and absurd websites that propagate the World Wide Web. The Internet is the greatest venue for mass information exchange in the history of the world, allowing virtually anybody with access to a computer to create a web page and post their ideas, views, and beliefs for the entire world to see. This wonderful freedom also provides an equal-opportunity forum for all kinds of pseudoscience, superstitions, and some just flat-out bizarre beliefs. The main theme of this site is humor and satire. It is not primarily dedicated to debunking, although we do a little of that. For serious debunking of odd beliefs, take a look at our links section and explore some of the great, rational resources created by people far smarter than me.
